About the Role
We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a motivated registered electrician who wants to develop specialist skills in industrial electrical systems, automation and control systems. Whether you're coming from a domestic, commercial, or light industrial background, this role offers a genuine pathway into the fast-growing industrial and automation sector.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and industrial equipment

Developing your expertise in industrial electrical, automation, and control systems

Working on a wide variety of industrial machinery and process equipment

Troubleshooting faults and solving technical challenges

Completing risk assessments and maintaining high safety standards
-
Preparing Certificates of Compliance (COCs) and Electrical Safety Certificates (ESCs)

Supporting apprentices and contributing to a positive team culture

Learning new technologies and gaining exposure to advanced automation systems
What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered electrician

NZ Electrical Registration and current Practising Licence
-
Full NZ Driver’s Licence
-
Strong desire to progress your career in the industrial electrical and automation field
-
An interest in asset management systems
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-
Physically fit and comfortable working in industrial environments
-
Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems and technologies
-
Willingness to participate in an on-call roster
-
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
